Those who wish to be a member of the society of St Vincent de Paul Conference of Our lady Star of The Sea must attend at least 6 meetings as observer. During this period, observers learn about the works of the society, and they may leave the society at any time when they feel that the works of SSVP are not what they expected.
After observing 6 meetings, we would ask whether the observer is mentally and spiritually ready to continue working for the poor and the needy. However, additional time of observation may be granted upon request.
When the observer is ready, The Vincentian Pledge would be recited together by all members to confirm the new member.
