Sacristan Ministry

Sacristan Ministry

Mission:

The Sacristan ministry is dedicated to serving God and the parish community by ensuring that the liturgy is celebrated with reverence, order, and beauty. Our mission is one of quiet stewardship—preparing the sacred space so that worshippers can encounter Christ in prayer and sacrament without distraction.
Sacristans are not only caretakers of objects but also ministers of presence. Their service is a form of prayer, offering time and attention to God’s house. By their devotion, they help the parish community enter more deeply into the mystery of the Eucharist and the sacraments.
